Read public social media data as JSON with one GET request: posts, profiles, comments, video transcripts and ad library results from 16 platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, X, LinkedIn and Facebook, plus any web page.

LurkAPI is a social media data API. Send one GET request with query parameters and get JSON back from public pages on 16 platforms: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Telegram, Snapchat, Truth Social, Google (Maps, News, Ads Transparency), eBay, Linktree and any web page. 88 endpoints cover profiles, posts, comments, search, video transcripts and the ads in Meta's, Google's, TikTok's and LinkedIn's ad libraries. Every response uses one envelope: success, credits_charged, credits_remaining, then the data. Errors carry a code and a docs link. Auth: an lk_live_ key in the x-api-key header or as Authorization: Bearer. Spec: OpenAPI 3.1 at https://lurkapi.com/openapi.json; llms.txt at https://lurkapi.com/llms.txt. Every endpoint page has curl, Node.js, Python, Go, PHP and Ruby samples and a real captured response. Price: most calls cost 1 credit. New accounts get 100 free credits with no card and a daily top-up to 25; packs are $9 for 10,000, $59 for 100,000 and $225 for 500,000, and credits never expire. Validation errors, 401/402/429 and 5xx errors are free; a not_found is charged because the platform was checked. Web pages cost 1-24 credits depending on the step that got the page. The same endpoints are an MCP server at https://api.lurkapi.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 sign-in or the x-api-key header). LurkAPI reads public data only: it never logs in to anyone's account and cannot post or message.
